I've always been "into" cooking and baking. I've found myself bored recently and thought I should challenge myself to become an even better cook. It started with the goal of making my own spaghetti sauce ("gravy" to my Italian friends) with tomatoes from my garden. (The first and second attempts were edible, but didn't knock my socks off like I was hoping.) I moved on to creamy sauces like alfredo and vodka. Success!
Then I got married. And our wonderful families and friends gifted us with lots of cool kitchen stuff. So I had to play! I even got my husband to give cooking a try--he makes a mean chili (and I don't even like chili!).
I'm excited to share my culinary journey with you. If you know me in real life, please come over and eat so I have an excuse to cook!
